Colledimezzo is a 12th century medieval town and commune in the province of Chieti. It sits on a rocky outcrop overlooking Val di Sangro. Colledimezzo literally means ‘Hill in between’, in fact the village is located on a hilltop between two higher mounts. The landscape of the village is striking, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Bomba from every window.

What to eat
Eating is an important part of life in Abruzzo. Italians eat well!
Now, our village is small and doesn't have much by way of restaurants. It has a bar- Bar For You (located on the main piazza) that is wonderful for a daily cappuccino or a glass of vino, but for more food options, you'll have to drive. Or you can grab groceries at Tabacchi Di Lello (our minimarket) and cook a meal at home.
